Scale of Sexual Prejudice Against Bisexuals: Evidence of Validity

Abstract Sexual prejudice against bisexuals is widespread in society. However, little research has been done on this phenomenon because it difficult to measure. The aim of the current study was validate a short version Biphobia Scale for Brazilian context (EPSB-br). In first study, EPSB-br showed unifactorial structure and convergent validity with scales measuring beliefs stereotypes about bisexuality. Study 2 EPSB-br’s convergent-discriminant religiosity, right-wing authoritarianism, social dominance orientation, sleepiness. Finally, 3 demonstrated criterion-related through an experimental manipulation which participants watched video pretend teacher assigned salary it. Taken together, these results evidence reliability EPSB-br, introduced measure bisexual people Brazil.
